Tasman Holiday Parks - South Bright

Noisiest caravan park that I have ever been to. Every night there were big groups partying with multiple blue tooth speakers blaring. They have a 10pm curfew for noise but several nights it didn't quieten down until almost midnight. Great for families with older teens and big groups wanting to party but I wouldn't recommend it for families wanting a nice relaxing holiday. There were no staff or security around after hours unless you specifically call with a complaint or concern.

Terrible experience at Bright Big 4. We rate it half a star, drove 4 hrs with toddler we get to the caravan park I take toddler to the playground to burn of some energy it’s 30 degrees no shade sail over playground slide is so hot I go down the slide with toddler, once we got of the slide we kept going headfirst into a parked car 2.5 meters away. Such a steep slide for a kids playground. I’m protecting toddler so don’t care how I land I hurt myself that bad another camper came over to help us. I can hardly walk.. we went home the next day Because I’m in agony my thigh is purple/ black and swollen we told them why we left. We were booked the 31st until the 6th we came home the 1st and they are refunding us one night so they make $800. We will not be going back for our one night credit such a shame because we were so excited to explore bright. Every other big 4 we have stayed at playground is in full shade and shade sail. So disappointed.

The owner forgot to provide linen upon our arrival. However, they gave us some at 11pm when we arrived. There is a large table at the kitchen for big groups. Pool table and table tennis are available. There is also a pool and other entertainments for kids and teenagers. Rooms are a little old but clean. We enjoyed our stay there for a snowtrip weekend!

I had a booking at Tasman Holiday Park for what I thought was June this year. I arrive at reception to discover that I am a month early. I start panicking as it’s a very popular time of year for tourists and worry that I am letting my friends down who have joined me on the 5 hour trip. However, I am met with an amazing receptionist who tried everything possible to find me new accomodation as they were booked out. I was then refunded for the error I had made and continued on to our new accomodation. I was so so grateful for the kindness this lady offered in my moment on panic and we went on to have a wonderful time in Bright! I will definitely be booking at Tasman Holiday Park next time I visit.
